Laminate Floor Maintenance Tips
ONGOING MAINTENANCE
Dust, sweep or vacuum the floor regularly with your hard floor attachment (no beater bar please) & use a damp cloth to blot up spills as soon as they happen
TO CLEAN
Clean the floor with no-rinse cleaning products made especially for laminate floor care. For tough spots, use acetone or nail-polish remover on a clean white cloth. Then wipe the area with a damp cloth to remove any remaining residue.
Remember to never wash or wet mop the floor with soap, water, oil-soap detergents, or mop and shine products.
Laminate floors are a hard surface floor that will wear forever! It is the choice for those who want low maintenance and great durability, without sacrificing beauty and look.
They consist of 4 components bonded together: a durable top layer with melamine resin and aluminum oxide, a decorative layer or high resolution photo-reproduction for the desired visual look, a central core board, and a melamine bottom for strength and stability. The layers are combined by a heat/pressure process into planks that will lock together and float over the existing floor or sub floor.
Laminate floors are extremely hard and resist dents and scratches. They are stain-proof, fade-proof, and "kid friendly". Just look at their features and benefits:
- Glueless, easy installation
